Windy Ridge School is
dedicated to the philosophy of a child-centered curriculum.
A variety of teaching methods is used to encourage
children to become actively involved in their own learning.
Goal setting, problem solving, and critical thinking
skills are incorporated into a curriculum that is rich
in literature and inspired by the natural curiosity
children have in the areas of science and social studies.
Subjects are integrated so that students can see relationships
within subjects, between subjects, as well as between
the topic and the real world. Our students learn to
become cooperative, self-reliant, productive members
of their class, school, community, and society.
